Mums 'n' Bubs

Classes are located in our air conditioned, boutique home studio at 78 Bassett Street, Mona Vale. We offer small classes so you receive more individual attention.


Our Mums n Bubs course provides you with an opportunity to bond with your baby, whilst practising yoga designed to help both your physical and emotional well-being.

We combine yoga for Mum, with yoga for the baby. Each class starts with baby massage, yoga and songs; and then moved into yoga to help you strengthen and balance both body and mind.

Each class has a different focus and we run on a five week cycle:

  • Week 1: Pelvic Floor & Core

  • Week 2: Neck & Shoulders

  • Week 3: Creating space in body, mind, and day-to-day life. Breathing; Self-Care & Yoga Nidra

  • Week 4: Practicing Yoga Together.

  • Week 5: Bringing it all together.

    BONUS: At the end of our Week 5 class, enjoy a 30 min chat and cuppa as you learn about Mother Nature’s Survival Kit. We’ll chat low-tox living and natural solutions for fatigue, digestion, teething, sleep and emotional support.

A Mum herself, Lou is a trained specialist in pre and post natal yoga.

You'll enjoy watching how your baby laughs, gurgles and interacts with you on the mat, and love how soundly they sleep afterwards!


Mums n Bubs runs as a 5 week course and costs $110.

You will be booked into 5 consecutive classes, but if you miss a week you will receive up to 1 make up class which you can use for Restore, Lakeside Flow, Beach Yoga or Mums n Bubs.

You may start yoga with us anytime, no need to wait until week 1 as courses run continually. Classes continue during school holidays.

Numbers are limited so bookings are essential.

We help Mums strengthen and tone abdominals and pelvic floor. For those with diastasis recti (abdominal separation) we provide guidance on what poses to avoid and safe alternatives to help gently engage and strengthen the deeper layer of muscle, the transverse abdominis.

New Mums tend to get tight through the chest, shoulders and back from carrying and feeding their baby, so we work into those areas.

Each class finishes with relaxation to release any tension and clear the mind, so you leave feeling revitalised and ready to tackle whatever the day/night may throw at you – sleepless nights, teething, piles of laundry, or another nappy!

This class allow you to practice yoga in an understanding and supportive environment - we encourage Mums to look after their baby’s needs so you are welcome to change and feed your baby during the class. Meeting other Mums-to-be creates a sense of community, and the nurturing and supportive class environment helps women overcome any emotional challenges as they transition into motherhood.
